Simply Sunday Challenge with Getting Cricky with K. Andrew

Hi Everyone,
Did you miss me? I know I have been MIA lately but I have had some really crazy stuff going on in my life but now I am all settled in and will be able to start posting again. WOOHOO! Can you believe today is the 1st day I have been able to craft in the last 2 1/2 weeks? I know..Crazy Right! I have been having major withdrawls believe me.
Well to is the Simply Sunday Challenge with Getting Cricky! This week the theme of the challenge is Winged Things... So you can make any project with anything that has wings and then link it to Getting Cricky blog. Kristal is giving away a $15 gift certificate to her store for the winner. How awesome is that?
For this project I used Kristal's newly released stamp set Winged Things. I love this set, it is really so verstile, it can be used for so much more than birds or butterflies.
You can check out this stamp set and all the new releases at K.Andrew Designs. Kristal donates $1 for every stamp sold to a special charity that is close to her heart, and I love these stamps, they are made of high quality polymer and made right here in the USA.
Here is my card that I made with Wings Things.

I used the Nursey Tails Imagine Cartridge. Make sure you head over to http://www.gettingcricky.com/ to play along this week and you'll have a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to Kristal's Stamp store.

SSD- DT Challenge- Pinics

Hi Everyone!
It's Becka with http://www.creationswithbecka.blogspot.com/ here today. Are you all enjoying your Summer? The kids are out of school and I have reduced my hours at work, so I have Fridays off now, and let me tell you I wish I always could work a 4 day work week because it is so nice to have that extra day. Lately, I have been trying to spend it in my craft room. But my craftroom is upstairs in my house and I don't have air conditioning so it gets really hot up there. Especially because it has been 100 degrees here. Yikes! But the swamp cooler works well and I just wear lots of tank tops and shorts LOL!
When I think of Summer I always think about talking long walks down by the Truckee River and having a pinic in the park. But with a pinic always comes ants, so I made this cute little card.
Can you believe that I could not find ants on a Cricut cartridge anywhere, every time I searched my Gypsy it brought up pants- How funny is that? So I used these old CM stickers I had.

I used this watermelon on page 46 from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I used the watermelon on the shift, then I deleted the face on the watermelon, so I could stamp a face with a Peachy Keen stamp. This is how I set it up on the Gypsy

Next, I used K.Andrew Amazing You stamp set for the sentiment. If you don't have any of K.Andrew stamps yet you have to get some! They are amazing and they are my new favorite stamps. You can check all of them out HERE. I used Peachy Keen Snowman faces for the stamped face.

Hope you all enjoyed my post today and make sure you stop by tomorrow to see what the other design team members make.
