Welcome Everyone to the Cricut Crafty Challenge day over at the Cricut FANatics Blog!
I am so excited to share the very first Cricut Crafty Challenge with you all today.  If you haven't heard of this blog go check it out. It is all Cricut projects and has a different designer every day.
This time of year is all about getting the kids back to school, so this month's challenge is to make a Back to School gift, layout, card etc.
I made this awesome supply basket to give to my son's teacher on the first day of school.

For my project, I  first wrapped the basket with yellow paper. I cut and added "photo mats" for the backgrounds of the glue, pencil and crayon. Then I pieced together and added all of the cricut cuts. The finishing touches were the ribbon and the buttons and of course some stickles.
Cartridges used: CCR- Classroom cuts Back to School, Welcome, Crayon and pencil. Create A Critter for the worm, Cursive 101 for the book, Simply Charmed for the glue.

Tooth Fairy Tins & Card Set for Girls

Happy Friday!!

Sorry I didn't post this yesterday, I did something to my back and have been in a ton of pain!
But I am feeling better today and as promised I wanted to show you the girl version I made of the Tooth Fairy tins and cards.

Again, I used Dr. Check up for the tooth cuts, and the star I believe is from Create A Critter. The stamp is the Tooth Fairy stamp from Jaded Blossoms. LOVE IT!!! I am in the process of adding these tins (blank ones) to my store and also round ones, so if you want to make one of these yourself you can buy the tins to do so. My store addy is www.whatsscrappin.com and I should have them there by Saturday afternoon.

Here is the set of cards to go with it.

Happy Birthday Card

Happy Tuesday All,

Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was very busy. My husband's friend passed away 2 weeks ago leaving behind a wife and 6 kids. Ages ranging from 3-16, it is quite sad actually he was only 37 years old. Pretty scary.

Since he is the only bread winner in the house we (all of our friends & their co-workers) have been trying to raise money for the family. We held a garage sale this weekend to help out. It was really nice because all of his co-workers donated stuff for us to sell. We raised over $2000 for the family and this is really exciting. We are so happy that we can help them out in this time of need

It was also my husbands birthday on Friday, and I took him out to a steakhouse that we have been trying to go to forever. Well we finally made it there and it was delicious!

Here is a Birthday card using Create A Critter
I absolutely love this cartridge. It is by far one of my favorites.

I love fall! What could be better then that? What do you love about Fall? I absolutely love the colors of Fall. The yellowing and burnt orange leaves, dark browns and burgaundys. The changing weather, not too hot but not too cold (no snow please, LOL!) and all the things Fall brings with it. Thanksgiving...a time to be with family and be thankful for them and friends. Say Cheese Card & Father's Day Mini Album

Hi Everyone
Today I have a special treat for you all! Two posts in one.
To get started I would like to share with you a sample card using the NEW Getting Cricky with K.Andrew stamps. Here is a notecard I make using her Food for Thought set called "Say Cheese". You can purchase Kristal's stamp sets here. I just love her stamp sets, all of them are adorable and affordable! They are made of the highest quality and they stamp so crisp! These are the best stamps I have used!

I used Create A Critter for the cheese and Getting Cricky Food for Thought Stamp sentiments.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow for our Stamp preview blog hop and u-stream live video. Friday's Blog hop has some awesome giveaways, almost every DTM will be giving away one or more Getting Cricky stamp sets! So make sure you come and check it out! Keep reading below, because I put together this awesome Father's Day gift that is super easy to make.

This week our DT Challenge for Sweet Sassy Diva, was to create a Father's Day project. So, now that the kids are out of school, I knew they wouldn't have made anything for their dad so we decided to make a mini album for him. My son had such a fun time helping me make this album, he helped pick out the cartridges and the cuts we would use in the album.
Here is what we made.

First, I used some pre-cut chipboard that is 6 x 6, then I used the patterned cardstock out of DCWV- It's a Guy Thing stack and cut them to 6x6, and glued the patterned cardstock to the covers and then the other pages are also glued together to make them a little thicker. I glued the white side of the pages together. I inked the edges of the album with chocolate ink. I used my cinch to bind the album together which was super easy- after I learned how to use it LOL!

Next, I used Accent Essentials to cut of this circle shape. I had some clear stickers with sayings on them, this one says memories, and I used Tim Holtz Alcohol inks to die them. Used hemp twine for the bow.

Next, we started decorating the inside pages.
These were some leftover stickers I had from a different project, not sure who they are by.

I used the Boys will be Boys cartridge for the hammer and screwdriver, and cuttlebugged two DCWV metalic pieces of cardstock to make them look like tool box chrome.

The page on the left was done by my 2 year old daughter and the one on the right was by my 7 year, he wrote a list of reasons why his dad is the best dad in the whole world. Its hard to read because he has really sloppy handwriting but one of the reasons was because he plays with him...pretty funny huh.

I used Block Party for these cuts, dad is a great BBQer so we thought we would put some pics of that in there.

This is cuts from Everyday Paperdolls. We love to camp in the Summer.

These last pages are Super DAD from Paperdoll Dress Up and the back cover has a pockets for their Father's day present to him. They got him tickets to the Steve Miller Band concert up at the outdoor theater in Lake Tahoe.
So now all I have to do is fill it up with some pictures and cut of some cute sayings from the Cricut- like Dad Rocks etc.... Just a few finishing touches and it will be good to go.
Thanks for stopping by today! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for K.Andrew Getting Cricky Stamp release blog hop! With lots of blog candy!!!

Care Package

Happy Thursday Everyone!
My husband went on a work trip to SLC, UT and was gone for 3 weeks. It seemed like forever, even though we talked on the phone and video chatted its just not the same. Can you believe he was there for 3 weeks and I couldn't convence him to go to one scrapbook store for me??? He was even there during the DCWV garage sale!! I know I even had a VIP ticket and he still wouldn't go. I told him that the ladies there would be very helpful and I would love anything he brought back, but nope he just rolled his eyes at me! LOL! Oh well can't say I didn't try! LOL

Anyways, we were all missing him pretty badly by the end of the first week so the kids and I packed up and went to Wally World to pick out some stuff to send him in his care package. Check it out:
These a fusion sticks. He told me that his room reaked of ciggeratte smoke and it was a non-smoking room! He bought 2 bottles of frebreeze and used both of them. Poor guy, the hotel was booked solid so they wouldn't move him to a different room, and since it was for work he had to stay there.

These were some pens and highlighters- he was in training classes the whole time so I thought he could use them.

The card the kids gave to him

Hes back now but we sure missed him a lot. The kids were growing anxious and wanted their daddy back. Thanks for stopping by and remember to check back on Saturday for the Memorial Day Blog Hop, there are a great group of ladies on the hop and we all have some awesome prizes to give away!
See you Saturday!!!

So I would like to share some of my Favorite things with you! Of course my all time favorite cartridge is Create A Critter, my favorite stamps are My Pink Stamper Stamps and my favorite adhesive for cards is the 3M ATG Gun!!! YEAH!!!
For todays project I made card sets and boxes to hold the cards in. Here are some of the pictures of the cards I made to put in the card holders:
For this card I used Pink 8 1/2 x 11 card stock, cut it in half to create an A-2 size card, then the patterned paper I am not sure who from, I bought it a long time ago, I used Create A Critter cut at 3.5" and then My Pink Stamper stamps.

I used 8 1/2 x 11 light blue card stock cut in half for an A2 card, Create A Critter cut at 3.5" and My Pink stamper stamps

Again, I used Create A Critter and My Pink Stamper stamps.

I used Create A Critter at 3.5 and My Pink Stamper Stamps.

Here are the boxes I made to hold the cards. I just thought these would make really nice gift sets.

I used Storybook for the letters and DCWV cardstock as it is a little thicker and better for holding the cards weight.  If any of you would like more information about how to make the boxes please leave it in your comments and I will make another post with a video to show you how.

Okay, so what is a blog hop with out some blog candy??? So for todays hop I will be giving away one of my favorite things that Bobbi Jo over at SweetSassyDiva introduced me to last year. I have been hooked on it ever since. So to win this awesome Pink ATG Gun, you must be a follower and leave a comment on this post. SSD- DT Challenge

This week for Sweet Sassy Diva's DT challenge we were asked to use a new cartridge. Well I ordered some but they have not come in yet so I thought I would do this cute winter card.
For this card I used Create A Critter and cut the penguin at 3.5 inches. I used dark purple 8 1/2 x 11 card stock cut in half at 5.5" to make an A2 card size. Light purple card stock is cut at 5.25"x4.25" and I used the Snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder on it. I also used My Pink Stamper Winter Wishes stamp.
