Blop hop Winner

Thank you all who visited this weekend! I had such wonderful comments from all of you and I really appreciate them. There is a lot of requests for a how to video which I am going to start working on, but I won't be able to post it right away as I am leaving this week for a trip. But as soon as I get back I will edit, and try to get it posted. And thank you all for visiting me on facebook and my store. It truely means a lot to me.

I wanted to share a little Thank you gift I made for a friend who I was in a swap with that sent me a nice box full of goodies. She sent me some stick pins, so I just knew right away I had to make a stick pin cushion for her.

So, this hop is about loving the women in our lives. Well the most important woman in my life is my MOM! She is always there for me whenever I need to talk, laugh, cry or just vent. She always has the best advice and seems to always have words and encouragement to cheer me up. So to honor her I made her this cute little pin cushion.

I just learned how to make stick pins and I totally can't stop making them, so I needed a place to store all of them. So I decided to jump onto Youtube to check out some videos. I found a video tutorial by Luvleescrappin.  And now I have been making these like crazy. I think my mom will really enjoy it.
Plus, the best part is now I get to show her how to make them.
They are super easy to make, I used a paper clip holder I found at the dollar store, and then hot glued some decorative rocks to the bottom (inside) to add some weight. Then I wrapped the outside with some paper that matched my fabric that I used for the top. Next, I make a sort of bubble with the fabric and some stuffing (I used the inside of an old pillow), then hot glue the "bubble" inside the paper clip holder. Then I just used various trims, flowers, feathers and bling to decorate it. It is super easy to make. If any of you are interested in a video or step by step instructions, let me know and I will make them for you.

Cricut Circle Magazine Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all are having an awesome Saturday. I know I haven't posted in a while but I have had a crazy couple of weeks. We went camping for Memorial Day and when we came home we found out we were robbed! So, I haven't had a computer to do anything with. But I have one ordered on it should be in next week so I am super excited for it to come. I will be able to post more finally!

So I wanted to share with you all a project I made for the Cricut Circle Magazine challenge. We were supposed to take those adorable Cricut guys and dress them up. So Here is what I came up with.

I used the County Fair Cartridge for all the cuts.
