Jaded Blossom December Challenge: Crafters Choice

Hi Everyone
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Mine was very busy. I have had this horrible cold that just won't go away and it hasn't stopped snowing here since last week. Today is this 1st day I have felt a little better and I cleaned up my craftroom a little to get a project done for the Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge.
If you haven't checked out their stamps you have to take a looksy lou here. I absolutely LOVE them. I only have a couple of sets but they are some of the best stamps I owe. They made them mainly for using on gifts and they just have the cutest sayings!

Here is some little gifts I made for our friends children. I used the stamp set called Reindeer Magic. I got this set from my sister for Christmas and I couldn't wait to try it out.

I filled them up with Christmas Hersey kisses, mint, almond and regular.

Ok, so on with the show. So, I thought it would be neat to have a Christmas Decoration blog hop because I always see the cutest decorations in the stores but they are so expensive. And I always think to myself "Hmmm... I could totally make that."  And of course I have so much crafting stuff, I wouldn't even have to buy anything.. LOL!  So I thought I would put it to the test and see what I could come up with. Plus, I wanted to see other ideas & projects so I could try those too.
So if you visit my blog a lot than you probably know by now that I love to make banners. And I love the $1 bin at Michaels. Yes I know I did it again... I make a Christmas banner out of the $1 bin coasters. Who knew these little coasters would be so handy. LOL!

Christmas Gift Blog Hop & Winners

Hi all my crafty friends,

Today I am hosting the Christmas Gift Blog Hop, and I am so excited! Ok, so this weekend I thought it would be a great idea to have a gift idea blog hop, to start your juices flowing and getting in the Christmas spirit. Plus we could all use some ideas on some handmade gifts. Last year I made card packs for all of my sisters and sister in laws. This year I decided to make decorative candles. I bought the glass candle jars at Michaels, they come in awesome scents and are not that expensive.
I used Santa's Village (love this cartridge!) on this one below.

Here are the detailed instructions on how I made this one.
Recipe:
Glass candle jar with lid
Santa's Village Cart
Ribbon & Rosettes Cart

Instructions:
Cut the Snow Monster on Santa's Village cart at 4.5", also cut out his head for the top of candle jar at 3.8"
Cut a red scalloped circle at 5"
Print 1- 12x12  page of the backround paper that is blue with bears and snow monsters on it.
Take the printed backround paper and cut 3.25" x 12" and wrap around jar and glue on
Take the other part and cut 6 rosettes from the Ribbons & Rosette cartridge at 1.5"- adhere together May want to cut this smaller as mine turned out too big for the lid.
Adhere Snow monster on top of the scalloped circle and then on to the jar
Adhere Monster head to rosette and adhere to the lid of the jar.
