Dream Banner

Good morning everyone.
Today I wanted to share with you this Dream banner I made for the Cricut Circl blog Color Challenge and the magazine challenge. The colors to use were, peach, green, aqua, blue and brown.
I tried something different with this banner. I bought some Jewelry wire and put the banner together with that.
I started by wrapping a 5 inch piece of wire around a pencil to give it some curl, I did this for every piece that is hooked together. I used paper from Me & My Big Ideas. The stack doesn't have a name on it. But I just love the paper.
I also used Storybook for the letters, butterflies, and scrolly thing. I added glitter to every cut to make it stand out a little more. The letters are cut in DCWV glitter cardstock.

Here are some close ups of each piece of the banner.

I drilled holes in the chipboard for the wire- ok my hubby drilled the holes, but I was supervising the whole time. LOL!
I then laced the wire through the holes and make little knots on the back sides of the chipboard and wire.

Bugs & Kisses Card

Hi Crafty friends

I have been able to spend more time in my craftroom lately and I am lovin' it! I spend Saturday over the the Cricut Circle Blog where they had tons of challenges and cool stuff for us to do.

I made this card for the Recipe challenge, you had to make a project using at least 3 cricut cuts, use yellow, use a bird, bug or butterfly and use stitching.
So this is what I came up with, I used the Live Simply cartridge for this cute worm on a branch and the scalloped cut out, I used George Basic Shape for the circle.
I wasn't how this was going to turn out when I was putting it together, but I think it's cute now. Check back tomorrow, as I have been working and a cool new coaster banner, and I have been experimenting with different ways to hang them up.

BEWARE! Halloween Wreath

Hi everyone,

Last week was the blog anniversary of the Cricut circle Blog and there were challenges everyday. I made this awesome halloween wreath to hang on my front door.
Hi everyone! It's Becka Here from Creations with Becka. This week the DT for Sweet Sassy Diva was asked to make a wreath. Here is the wreath I made for my front door. I used October 31 and Happy Haunting for all of the cricut cuts and K.Andrew Designs Fall-o-ween stamp set for the "hiss" on the tomb stone. The patterned cardstock is from last years Halloween paperstack from DCWV.

Circle Blog Anniversary Challenge

Hi Everyone
Last week was the Blogiversary of the Cricut Circle Blog, and they had some fun challenges going on to enter to win some cool prizes. Of, course I didn't have time to do all of the challenges but I got a couple of them done and I just wanted to share them with you.

The first challenge I did was a Sketch Challenge. I used Accent Essentials & Happy Hauntings cartridges for the cricut cuts. And the sentiments are by K.Andrew Designs Fall-O-Ween stamp Set.

The 2nd challenge that I entered was the Monochromatic Color Challenge. I made this little card with Wildcard and New Arrival. Which I have never used wildcard before so that was exciting. The stamped sentiment is from K.Andrew Designs Fashionable Friends stamp set.

I used 3 different shades of pink for this card.

Hope you all enjoyed, I hope to get some more of the challenges done tonight after work and I will post them. Don't forget to check out my 850 follower giveaway HERE!
And if you liked the stamp sentiments I used by K.Andrew Designs, check out her store at http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/

Best Wife Ever!

Good morning all my crafty friends,

Guess who the best wife ever is? MEEEEE! LOL.... Today is my husband's and my 10 year wedding anniversary. It is crazy how time flies by. We were highschool sweethearts and 15 years laters he is still the love of my life!
Normally every year for our anniversary he always says "what do you want?" and of course I always say " Oh I don't need anything, plus we don't have any money right now." You know I am the one who handles all the bills so I know when we don't have money to spend on needless things. So we go out to dinner and call it a night.  But this year was special 10 years is a long time! So this is why I am the best wife ever..... I got him the new XBOX 360!
So the best part of all is get this..... Football has started so that gives me Sunday & Monday Night to craft, and now with this new toy I will have plenty of time to myself for crafting! LOL. OK enough about how I just out smarted my husband! LOL....
This month over at the Cricut Circle Blog the monthly challenge is called Window Dressings. I made this super cute anniversary card for my husband using the new Circle Exclusive cartridge Sophie and K. Andrew Designs stamp set Winged Things.

I used DCWV paperstack- can't remember the name right now, oops. Sophie cartridge and Winged Things by K.Andrew Designs.

I love K. Andrew Designs stamp sets! These stamp are made from high quality polymer and they are all made right here in the USA. Plus Kristal donates $1 per set sold to special charities that are close to her heart. I just think that is really awesome! If you want to check out her stamp click HERE.

Circle Nevada Pennant Contest

Happy Wednesday! Is everyone having a lovely hump day? I am because my work day is almost over. YAY! I wanted to share with you a Pennant I made for the Cricut Circle Pennant Contest. We were supposed to make a pennant of our home state that represents our state. I live in NV and last year was our greatest college football season ever! GO WOLFPACK! We went all the way to the Championships with our home town hero quarterback Colin Kaepernick (who was drafted by the 49er's). We had a 13-1 season. It was awesome and totally brought NV pride to Reno. So with that in mind I made my banner honoring the NV Wolf Pack Football team.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check back Saturday for our Operation Owl Blog Hop- where there will be lots of prizes and blog candy, it is sponsored by Amy Chomas.

It's A Pirates Life for Me!

Good Wednesday morning fellow crafters.
How are you all doing today? I am fanatastic! One more day until my Friday! WOOT!WOOT! Today I am going to share with you a Pirate's Game I made for the Cricut Circle June Monthly Challenge. The theme this month was to make a project(notebook, game, planner etc....) for a Road Trip.
So, since our family is really taking a roadtrip to the Redwood Forest in August, I thought this would be a geat game for the kids to play in the car or in the camper.

I used the Buccaneer Imagine cartridge for the whole project. There is a treasure map already on the cartridge so I used that as the board for the game. Next, I cut out 4 pirates at 3.5" for the game pieces.
Then I cut out the No Trespassing sign, cannon and treasure chest to give the game board some depth.

I also made these game cards from the Buccaneer Cartridge, the skull paper was printed and then cut to 2" x3" cards.

So how does the game work? Well the youngest player goes first. They draw one card and then do what is on the game, the objective of the game to to get to the X where the treasure chest is. The red marks is the trail to the X.

Cricut Circle Magazine Challenge- March

This month the Cricut Circle Magazine challenge was to show how you store 4 of your Cricut items.
First, this is how I store my cricut books. I keep them in the top drawer of my desk because I use them so often I need them close by. I don't keep the boxes or the cartridges with them because I use my Gypsy for everything so I very rarely need the cartridges. I keep them in alphabetical order.

Next I keep the solutions cartridges on a ring, as they are just one piece of images.

I store my cuttlebug folders in this little basket I found at Big Lots for $3 and keep my cuttlebug right next to it. This is on a shelf on the wall behind my desk.  I labeled all of them by name with a label maker.

I have a U-shaped desk so I keep my cricut machine on the corner of the desk behind me so I just have to turn around to use it.
And then I store all of the mats on the wall directly above the machine.

I have a lot of them because when they go on sale I stock up. LOL!
And then I keep all my tools on this turn table storage from Memory Makers.

I also keep myYourStory Photo on the desk behind me and the folders on a desk next to mine on the back wall.

So Here is a picture of what my room looks like to give you a better idea.
This picture was taken before I had my cuttlebug and folders so where those cartridges are on the back shelf is now where I keep the cuttlebug.

Cricut Circle Magazine Challenge

This month for the Cricut circle magazine challenge we were asked to create a project with our new Exclusive cartridge we got last month -Cricut Everyday. We had to include 3 cuts from the cartridge. Here is what I came up with:

I used my circle member card and made this super cute 12 x 12 layout. I am going to frame it and hang it in my scrapbook room.
Numbers are cut at 2"
Words are cut at 2.75"
Circle heads are cut ar 2", 3.25" 2.5"
