Cricut Circle April Challenge

Hi
This months Cricut Circle challenge was to make a center piece. You had to incorporate at least 2 cricut cuts in your project. Well my friend's birthday was on Friday so I thought I would get out my oh so useful Art Philospohy cart and try to make those beautiful flowers I keep seeing all over.

Here is what I came up with.

I found this bucket at Michaels in the home collection area, it was 50% off.  I added "Thinking of You" from the Cindy Loo cartridge, and cut it out of vinyl at 3"
The flowers I used are from Art Philosophy, they are cut at different sizes, the larges one are 6", all the down to 3.5"
I cut a syrafoam circle in half and hot glued it to the top of the bucket and then hot glued and pinned the flowers in place.
Tell me what you think.

I am also entering this into
CRAFT Challenge: Weddings/Aniversaries
The Craft Place Challenge- Anything but a square or rectangle

Easter Basket

Happy Good Friday to All!

Are you all ready for Easter? I'm not at all, I have all the candy and stuff just need to put it all together.
I wanted to share another Easter basket I made for my nephew for this Sunday and I have some BIG news. I can't wait for Easter! I just love watching the kids find all the Easter eggs and then having to hide them 10 more times before they are finally bored with it! LOL!
We are getting together at my mom's house for Easter dinner, I can't wait to see everyone.
I made this basket with the Tags, Boxes and More cartridge and the it is the popcorn box cut at the end of the handbook. I cut it at 10.5" and use my gypsy to turn it a little to get it to fit on the page.

I used Simply Charmed for the chick cut and the stamp is from the $1 bin at Michaels- I just love those bins so many good deals. LOL!
I used Peachy Keen Critter Faces- not sure of the exact name for the face stamp.

Ok on to my BIG news.  It has always been my dream to open a scrapbook store. I tried the consultant thing and I just love helping people find their passion in crafts. Well, I finally took the plunge and openned my own scrapbook store. It is not a brick and mortor store as I always wanted. It is an online scrapbook store and I am added products to it everyday. I have some great deals on Teresa Collins Designs and the Tim Holtz markers are a great PRE-ORDER price right now.
I plan on offering some kits, ideas and youtube videos for more crafty ideas too.
My store consists of high quality products at a discount. I love shopping for crafts, but I hate the price tags that come along with it. So I have decided on openning a store where everything is affordable and marked at prices that you can't beat. There is so much out there and of course I would love to carry it all but I can't afford that right now. So now I need your help! I would like to know from all of you what you would like to see in my store. Please leave a comment with some of your favorite brands and products you would like to see me carry. Also if you have something in mind that you are looking for just contact me and I will check out what I can get it for (it will be definitely cheaper then you would normally pay).  Ok, please check out my store and sign up with an account to recieve newletters and special discounts and offers. http://whatsscrappin.com .
Have a great Easter.

Vinyl Wall Haning Project

Happy Tuesday All!

I hope you all are enjoying your Tuesday. I am at work, YUCK! LOL!  So I have been wanting to try vinyl for a long time, and finally I did it! It was so easy to do, I just watched some YouTube videos before hand just to make sure I did it right and wowzers so easy!

Anyways I wanted to share this wall frame I made for my friend for her birthday.
I bought this picture frame at Big Lots and just took the backing off of it. I then added the vinyl letters and glued the glass to the frame. It was super easy to make and what an awesome present.
I used my Gypsy and Cursive cartridge and welded the letters together. I also used Platin Schoolbook font and the little doodle is from Sophiscated cartridge.
Thanks for stopping by, have an awesome Tuesday!

Easter Baskets

Crafty Monday to You!

I hope you all have a great weekend and were able to get some crafting done, time with family and everything else that can't get done during the week. LOL! I did get some crafting done this weekend and I can't wait to share with you what I made.
Easter is coming up fast and I knew this weekend would be my last change to make something for it, so I crafted up and made this cute little Easter basket to give to my nephew. Now I just need to go shopping to fill it up.

I made this basket cut at 10.5' from the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cart, the little bunny is from Simply Charmed and I used a Friskers punch for the grass.
I used Peachy Keen stamps for the face on the bunny and just $1 stamp from Michaels for the saying. I also embossed the carrot with a cuttlebug folder.
