These pens are awesome! You can use them in your cutting machines! WOOHOO. So make sure you come back on Saturady so you can join in all the fun! There lots of prizes and goodies along the way. I will be giving away another K.Andrew stamp set.

Ok for my project today I used Fashionable Friend stamp set by K.Andrew. I love these stamp sets by K.Andrew they are awesome! She donates $1 from every stamp sold to a special charity and they are made right here in the USA! I like that they are high quality polymer stamps and they stamp so crisp.

For my project, my little sister turned 26 on Saturday, WOWZERS I feel old! I made her this gift tag that I put on some boday spray I gave to her.

We all went out for Sushi for my sister's birthday and we had so much fun. My husband doesn't like anything fish so he had chicken and rice, but he tried a sushi roll and oh my gosh it was so funny the look on his face. Pure agony it seemed like. My son who is 7 also tried it for the 1st time and he loved it! YAY! For me I now have a new sushi partner. I love sushi! And most of the time I go by myself at lunch for it, my sisters work to far away to join me and my husband doesn't like it, so now I can take Cooper with me. He starts a reading program today and it will be on every Tuesday for a month so he has to come to work with me so I can take him so I guess we will have to have sushi on the days he is with me.
I hope to see all of you back here on Thursday where I will have an exciting announcement about my blog and again on Saturday for the Operation Owl blog hop. Have a gerat day!

Let's Get Cricky Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Let's Get Cricky" Blog Hop!!

This month's hop is in support our fallen HEROES...  We will each be featuring special "Thank You" cards to be delivered during the "Run for the Fallen" in Maine...
"Run for the Fallen Maine is an organization dedicated to keeping alive the memory of our military heroes that gave their lives to protect our freedom since September 11, 2001.

On Sunday August 21, 2011 the 4th run to honor our heroes will be held. This is a 65 kilometer event with each kilometer being dedicated to the memory of one of our heroes that lived in Maine, had family from Maine or had some ties to our home State."
One of our Design Team Sisters, Rebecca of The Crafting Misfit, will be hand-delivering these cards during this very special event...  If you would like to help support this cause, we invite YOU to join us in making a card or two to say "THANKS"...  You can find the address to mail your cards by clicking HERE.  The organization is also accepting donations for the event.  You can find more information about donating by clicking HERE...

If you've hopped along from Amy from Love To Crop then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with K Andrew's blog (I wouldn't want you to miss a THING!!)...

Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!

K Andrew Designs stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America.

I am featuring the "Freedom Isn't Free" Stamp Art Set for tonight's hop.  $1 from the sale of each "Freedom Isn't Free" stamp set is donated to Intrepid Fallen Heroes -- a non-profiit organization that provides rehabilitative services to US military members who are severely disfigured from combat.

You've Got Purse-onality

Good Wednesday morning everyone,
Today I wanted to share with you a purse card I made with Fover Young cart and Fashionable Friends stamp set by K.Andrew. I am so excited this morning because we went camping last weekend at Davis Lake, CA and I got some really awesome pictures to share with you too. But, first on to my project.

Here is how I set this up on the Gypsy
I had to weld 2 purses together, so in order to do this you choose 2 of the sam purse and the flip one of them from right to left. Then I welded them together. On the back side of the purse, you need to make it so the flower cuts will not cut into the paper, so you must hide the cuts.
This button I am pointing to will hide the cuts that you do not want cut out. Then I used Getting Cricky with K. Andrew stamp set Fashionable Friends to stamp the cute little saying on it, kind of like a price tag.  Check out all of Kristal's stamp set by clicking HERE. I love all of these stamp sets she has come out with, they are made right here in the USA and she donates $1 per stamp set sold to a charity that is close to her heart. I think this is totally awesome! And what a great inspiration to the rest of us. Look at this set! Isn't it awesome!

Ok so last weekend we went to Davis Lake to go camping, and we had such a great time. We took this 5 mile off road trail to the top of a mountain to a look out tower that is used to watch for fires along the whole valley. The ride up there was so scary the trail was barely big enough to fit our truck on and then there were fallen trees everywhere and cliffs! Needless to say my stomach was in knots by the time we got to the top. But it was well worth it, take a look at these pictures. 360 degree views of the whole valley. We could see the top of Mt. Lassen which is in OR I believe.

And of course a picture of my adorable friends.
Make sure you come back by on Friday for the Getting Cricky Design Team blog hop! There will be lots of great prizes....like.....Humm....I know I will be giving aways some stamp sets! WOOHOO! See you Friday!

Simply Sunday Challenge: Fashion-ista!!

Happy Sunday everyone,

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was fantastic! It cooled off some so that was nice, but now we are back to the heat. YIKES! Well today is the Simply Sunday Challenge with Getting Cricky. This week we are featuring the Fashionable Friends stamp set and the theme for the challenge is Fashion-ista! You can check out all the details and link you project HERE.  I just love the Fashionable Friends stamp set- it has the cutest sentiments and is just plain adorable!
You can check this stamp and all of Kristal's stamps HERE! Let me tell you the reasons why I love all of her stamps.
1. They are all made right here in the USA- Keeping American's working
2. They are made of the highest quality polymer
3. They sentiments are just crazy cute
4. They are only 14.99
5. She donates $1 per stamp set sold to one of her favorite charities
Fashionable Friends helps Cancer Angels with helps stage 4 cancer patients. I just checked her site and she only has 8 sets in stock, so make sure you hurry and pick up your set today.
Ok so onto my project! When I think of a Fashion-ista, I always think of shoes.. and what girl can't live without shoes? Right? They are definetly one of my favorite things to shop for (they never make you look fat) besides paper of course! LOL!

And take a closer look at this sentiment- Isn't it great?

So now I hope you take the challenge and link your project up at Getting Cricky.

SSD- DT Challenge Stars

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! Mine was awesome. I have been MIA the last couple of days but that is because I had the last 6 days off and it was so nice but very busy. I had all this stuff I wanted to get done and probably only got maybe 3 things on the list done! Crazy. On the 4th we went to the waterpark, dinner and the fireworks. The kids had a wonderful day and were super tired from too much fun!
So this week for Sweet Sassy Diva's Design team challenge, we were asked to make a project using stars and no stripes.
The Cricut Circle monthly challenge was to make something patriotic so I made this card for that.
I made this 4th of July card.
To make this card you will need the following:
Blue and red cardstock
Blue star and Red star patterned paper
Make A2 size card out of the blue card stock
Cricust Essentals for the the stars- which were layered on the Gypsy
Pop-dots
Freedom Isn't Free- Stamp set by K.Andrew
K. Andrew's stamps are awesome, high quality and made right here in the USA. Keeping jobs in America! Plus every stamp set donates $1 per set sold to a charity that is close to Kristal's heart. To see all of her stamps you can check them out HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today.
